Youth of the Year is an annual speech and essay competition for teens. Each year a selection of teen members work with mentors to write essays about their lives and experiences that they turn into short speeches. The competition involves presenting the speech and an interview with a panel of judges. A winner is selected and they have the opportunity to compete at the state level with winners from other Clubs.
