Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo is a nonprofit organization where youth ages 5 – 18 have a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun! The Club is a place where great futures are created daily.
Every day, youth in our community leave school with no place to go. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kalamazoo is here to fill that gap by providing educational and recreational after-school programs free of charge to youth in the community. The Club has dedicated to ensuring that the youth in Kalamazoo have a safe place to go, access to quality programs and services that enhance their lives and shape their futures since 1953.
The Club has four core beliefs that were developed with help of the youth and they are to provide:
1. A safe place to learn and grow
2. Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals
3. Life-enhancing programs and character developing experiences
4. Hope and opportunity
