Participating Arts

Boys & Girls Clubs recognizes the importance of the arts in the overall education and development of members as people, and the arts program is an important part of the Kalamazoo Club experience. The arts encourage creativity, focus, the importance of practice, and helps young people see the beauty in the world around them. The program offers children the opportunity to participate in many art forms including digital, performing, and visual arts.

Focused Art

Focused Art is dedicated time for members to be creative! They have the opportunity to try out a variety of different types of art.

Summer Arts Spectacular

Summer Arts Spectacular is a program that runs during summer that focuses on teaching members about performing arts like acting, dancing, singing, and music. Summer Arts builds up to a showcase at the end of the summer to give members an opportunity to show what they’ve learned.
